The noise blanker on the Argosy does kill the noise with very little degradation of the desired signal. The power company is very good about coming out and fixing the problem(s) when I report them. Once you establish a communication link with someone in the power company, treat them with respect, and prove that you are not some bozo just causing trouble, they will listen to you.
